2 weeks ago driving down the highway and the low oil light pops on, pull the dipstick and it shows to be 1qt low (bottom of the crosshatch marks), I was anticipating my oil change at the 40k point so I added 3/4qt and continued on. I assumed the dealership maybe skimped during the oil change perhaps. Install new drain plug and torque it to 32Nm. Pump fresh fluid in (about 650ml). Start the engine and run it for 30 sec to prime the haldex pump, shut it down, pump in additional fluid (50ml +/-) until it starts to drain out. Install new fill plug after fluid is down to dripping and torque it to 15Nm. Done!
9 DSG fluid changes between my 2 cars and friends. All top fill through filter tube, never had any issues. Use this funnel with a bungie to hold it upright. Not really slow filling (no holes punched in bottles), about half a beer per container timewise .

Yeah it was surprisingly easy on this car. Actually, its easier than any other car I have ever worked on (contrary to what everyone says about German cars).
