The changed designation indicates the increase in performance, which is due to new electric motors on the rear axle and the improved battery management. This is because the new Skoda Enyaq, like the VW models ID.4 and ID.5 as well as the Audi Q4 e-tron, receives the new Group engine, which increases the output from the previous 150 kW to 210 kW. With 125kW rapid charging capability fitted, the Enyaq can be topped up from flat to an 80% charge in 38 minutes, making longer distances not too much of a pain. CAP expects the Enyaq's residuals
2 the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) will be replaced by the WLTP in stages. Owing to the more realistic test conditions, the fuel consumption and CO emissions measured according to the WLTP will, in many cases, be higher than those measured according to the NEDC. We are currently still required by law to state the NEDC figures.
However I believe that rapid charging generally only happens when the battery is below 20% (edit: below 15% charge apparently) if you have 100kW+ charging capability on your Enyaq. Otherwise you’ll only be able to charge at a maximum of around 50kW/h. Usually people use rapid chargers up to 80%, as the charge rate slows down considerably The all-new Škoda Enyaq is fitted with an infotainment system complemented by a touch-slider. The slider can be used to change the music volume, zoom in and out of the navigation map, or change the air-conditioning temperature. SmartLink enables smartphone apps to be used and controlled via the infotainment system display. The Enyaq is currently in our Virtual Showroom and will be available for live video tours 7 days a week.
