It’s kind of uncommon for Apple to do this, but it’s true: the Apple TV 3rd generation still works as a HomeKit home hub. It even has support for basic automations! It lacks sharing and camera (haven’t tested it yet) support tho. Strange. I couldnt use it and had to use an older iPad 4. Later swapped to ATV4 HD. UGuA.
