The high-end Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 headphones look, feel, and sound fantastic, which makes their less-than-impressive noise cancellation capabilities forgivable. Menu #CES2024
The P7 has a definite V shaped sound compared to the PX. The PX is very much a flatter (though its not flat or neutral) sound that does require a little bit of EQ from time to time. I tend to EQ it a little to give it a little more detail on the top end, at the expense of bass. The Bowers & Wilkins PX5 shows their strengths both as travel headphones, and as a constant companion in everyday urban life between open-plan offices, underground trains and cafés. Bowers & Wilkins is one manufacturer who would never be forgiven for making mistakes as, over several decades, this British brand has earned such a good reputation. SUMMARY. Although there’s nothing at all wrong with the PI4, it does seem a tad overpriced for what it offers. While the sound signature is pleasing to the ears, it doesn’t present an immaculately clear sound. Over-ear Elegance. Earlier this month, we took a look at the Bowers & Wilkins PX5 on-ear headphones and were impressed. Today, we’re looking at the latest edition of their big brother, the PX7

Not as effective as the Sonys but considering it's an on-ear not bad at all. I also think the PX5 look better than the PX7. The companion app is really simple compared to something like the Sonys and not at all necessary to use the headphones. You can rename them and fine tune some aspects of the ANC but that's about it.
