Update[Mon 10th Oct, 2022 13:30 BST]: Releasing on other consoles late last week, No Man's Sky's Waypoint update is now available on Switch. This means that all of the new features mentioned below 7 years in and No Man's Sky is having its biggest month in the last few years! Across all platforms - PC, XBox, Gamepass, Switch, PlayStation, Mac and VR Welcome to the community ️ pic.twitter The vast and beautiful No Man's Sky universe will be available on the Nintendo Switch along with a remastered physical release for the PlayStation 5 on October 7, 2022. Both versions will launch with the extra content the twenty major updates have provided. The PS5 release will be the first time the game has physically been available to Here's what you'll need to know about saddling up in No Man's Sky. You can spawn companions at any time using the creature menu. Creatures cannot jump. Companions are stout enough to carry you long distances without stopping. Akin to travelers, companions have a stamina meter and can't sprint forever. This is, after all, a Switch and thus has modest hardware compared to a PS5 and Xbox Series X. No firm release date has been set, but No Man's Sky will be available on Switch sometime this summer.
Ultimately, No Man's Sky on Switch isn't a bad port. This is a demanding game targeting 30fps on PS4 and Xbox One, and as such I fully expected to see a broad range of cuts.
After years of development on other consoles, No Man's Sky is out for Nintendo Switch, at long last. And there's good news: it was worth the wait.
Captured on Nintendo Switch (Docked) Yes, No Man's Sky was not the all-encompassing wonder we'd been led to believe it would be. It had the procedurally generated planets, the 'infinite'
Once I heard the 4.0 Witcher 3 update was going full cross save, I picked up the Switch version. There’s so much content that it’s worth being able to bring with me on travel etc, but there’s no way I’m starting over again for that same reason. (Let’s hope that update does actually come out for Switch soon 😆) Same thing applies to NMS.
