The second and last episode of Half-Life 2. Just like the previous episode, this one is also short compared with the main HL2, still it's a little longer than ep1. A YouTube leaker who specializes in Valve news, Tyler McVicker, spotted that Half-Life 2 has kicked off an unannounced beta branch, with Valve quietly working on a number of important improvements

Half-Life 2 clearly cared about events of Half-Life 1, so the Canon was taken care into consideration. What Laidlaw probably meant is that there are no set boundaries to the Canon, for example we can't decide whether Opposing Force is Canon or not, because he doesn't care.

Valve quietly readying Half-Life 2 for Steam Deck with big new beta branch update . Also adds ultra-wide support, FOV boost, and more.
